Late Fee TV · Last updated 10 August 2026
Late Fee TV helps you decide when to cancel a streaming subscription and when to resubscribe, based on a watchlist you build and renewal dates you enter yourself. This page describes exactly what the service stores and how to remove it.
Information collected
-
Your Google account identity. Signing in uses Google. Late Fee TV receives
and stores the stable Google account identifier and the email address on that account. It
requests only the
openid, email, andprofilescopes. No password is ever transmitted to or stored by Late Fee TV. - Subscriptions you enter. The platforms you tell it you subscribe to, the billing period and plan tier, and the renewal, cancellation, and start dates you record. All of this is entered by you by hand.
- Your watchlist. Shows and seasons you add, and whether you have finished them.
- Preferences. Display language, streaming region, time zone, and the timing settings that control how far ahead advice is given.
- An activity log. A record of advisory events and changes you make, so the reasoning behind a recommendation can be traced.
- Letterboxd import (optional). If you choose to upload a Letterboxd export, the viewing records in that file are stored and used to populate your watchlist.
- Problem reports (optional). If you submit one, it includes the app version, browser and operating-system family, viewport size, language, and the name of the page you were on. You choose separately whether to attach a short trail of recent pages and actions. Reports never include cookies, tokens, form values, searches, or raw error data.
Information not collected
- Streaming service credentials of any kind.
- Payment card, bank, or billing account details.
- Advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers. The service runs no advertising network, no analytics product, and no third-party trackers.
How the information is used
Solely to operate the service for you: to work out which subscriptions are worth keeping this month, to remind you before a renewal you said you did not want, and to suggest when a cancelled service is worth resuming. Your data is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and it is not used to train machine-learning models.
Other services involved
- Google Sign-In handles authentication. Google's handling of that sign-in is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- The Movie Database (TMDB) supplies show metadata, artwork, and regional availability. Requests for that catalogue data are made by the server and are not tied to your account. Poster images are loaded in your browser directly from TMDB.
- Cloudflare serves the site and provides network protection. It processes request metadata such as IP address in the ordinary course of delivering traffic.
Cookies
Two cookies, both strictly necessary: one that keeps you signed in after you authenticate, and one anti-forgery token that prevents another site from submitting requests as you. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual subscriptions, watchlist entries, and imports at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes the account record and the data owned by it. Requests to privacy@latefee.tv are answered within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase the personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Write to privacy@latefee.tv to exercise any of these.
Children
Late Fee TV is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated date above will change and the revised policy will be posted here before it takes effect.
